Announcements -November 8, 2009 - Vol. 25, no. 42 Alternative Christmas Fair On November 14--from 9-1 there will be an Alternative Christmas Fair at the Bridgewater Church of the Brethren. An opportunity to donate to Habitat,Heifer International,First Step, Mercy House,Big Brothers Big Sisters, Free Clinic, Valley Aids Network, Gemeinschaft (and others) in honor of a friend or relative. SERRV gifts,Equal Exchange coffee and teaand crafts from local artisans will be available. There will be activities for children and toys fromCrafty Hands. Reception Lunch for Tom Benevento/New Community Project on November 15 November 15, after our worship, everyone is invited to a potluck lunch at the Zahner/Benevento home, celebrating Tom receiving MMA's Journey Award. Tour their gardens, see their projects, meet others from the New Community Project, and listen to good music! A pot of rice and beans and fruit and dessert are provided. Bring food to compliment these.
Lunch with John Filson, November 22 November 22, Earl and Pat Hostetter Martin are hosting John Filson who has been with MCC in Northern Iraq. Please join us for a potluck lunch at their home to hear about his work there. The main dish will be provided. Bring salads, vegetables or dessert.
